Captured!

Daisy, shortly after her climbing expedition, looking very pleased with herself.

Yesterday we put Daisy down for a nap and, when we checked her on the video monitor, noticed her head was conspicuously close to the camera lens. Yes, she had managed to pull herself up to kneeling and then almost standing, using the crib bars!

So, at less than 7 months, we've had to lower the crib mattress down all the way to the toddler-bed level. Boy, let me tell you, it was a real reach to put her down last night!

Last night was also an experience in watching Daisy really propel herself across the room with her new crawling skills. She still does not have a fluid motion going yet but she muddles along quite sufficiently. Put her binkie on the other side of the room and watch her go!
